About
A citizen science tool for mapping Bristol's green infrastructure. Document what's growing, track its condition over time, and flag issues that need attention.
How It Works
- Sign in to create an account
- Photograph green infrastructure you find โ planters, street trees, green walls, rain gardens, and more
- Set the type and condition (Poor, OK, or Good)
- Location is auto-detected from photo GPS, your device, or placed manually on the map
- Submit and it appears as a marker on the map
Features
- Multiple observations: Add follow-up observations to existing sightings to track changes over time
- AI species ID: Use your camera to identify plant species automatically
- Issue tracking: Flag problems (damage, overgrown, etc.) โ issues persist across observations until marked as resolved
- Shape outlines: Draw rectangles, circles, or freehand polygons to show the extent of larger features
- Observation timeline: View the full history of observations for each sighting
- Edit and update: Modify your sightings โ change type, condition, species, location, images, and issues
